The Research Of Knowledge Visualization Design

The twenty-first Century is the Information Age and also called the Interpret Images Era. It is time of image communication that never has been appeared history. With the rapid development of knowledge economy, the formation of visual culture and the way of knowledge dissemination has changed from the text communication to visual communication, Due to image factors change, knowledge visualization emerge as the times require. Knowledge visualization relates to intercrosses multiple disciplines, and also is a dynamic development concept.This paper takes a wide view of domestic and foreign research of knowledge visualization which based on the research results, and combined with the knowledge of related disciplines, according to the learning needs of interpreting images, using the principles of visual communication design, from the angle of stylist investigated the design theory foundation of knowledge visualization, the visual elements and design process. The full text is divided into four chapters, in accordance with the form theory to practice, macros copical to specific logical sequence author.Firstly, the paper is based on the study form cognitive psychology,information science,computer science,education and other four areas of knowledge visualization,then seek the relationship between knowledge and visual communication design,and definition of knowledge elicitation.At the same time the Interpret Images Era economy and the visual culture as the background to discuss intellectual visual context,including the physical aspects of the development of knowledge economy,spiritual as pects of visual culture.Secondly, this paper has a statement and review of the knowledge visualization, From the cognitive psychology,schema theory,meaningful learning theory and dual coding theory,formed the knowledge visualization visualization of a complete theoretical system for the dynamic concept of continuously development and expansion.Thirdly, in the body part of this paper,I combined the principl- es of design visual communication,studies the visual elements:text,co lor and graphics.In the chemical of knowledge of visual and basis of visual elements,I put forward the design process of knowledge vi sualization, is mainly divided into five steps:1. knowledge requiremen t collection;2. knowledge acquisition, knowledge;3.design and construct ion;4.knowledge of visual transformation;5. knowledge of design evalua tion.Finally, the conclusion part is the summary of analysis,which offers the possibility of further exploration for the knowledge visualization des-ign.
