Appellation word is an important object in vocabulary researches. It representsthe relationship between people. Appellations research, especially in the study of thedevelopment and changes of different eras of appellation word, is an important aspectof the study of the history of Chinese vocabulary.The researches regarding appellation words and "Romance of the ThreeKingdoms","Three Kingdoms" are more than enough during the past decade,however the results of their research is weak. In the "Three Kingdoms" period that theWei, Shu and Wu three pillars of the situation in the environment of social unrest andhuge hierarchy differences, causing the rich in appellation words. In this article westart from the the specific appellation system in the "Three Kingdoms" context,combined with the "Chinese appellation Dictionary"word definitions on the formationof the corpus and systems division and research carried out in accordance with thecontent classification standards. The title is a sensitive area for social reflections, thestudy of the impact of social factors via the change of the titles is very appropriate.Therefore, the title has been the hot topic of sociolinguistics. Getting into the researchfrom this perspective can see the whole picture from a small detail.Appellation research contains a profound theoretical significance and value, it isworth to dig deeper. First of all, it has a value of sociolinguistics. Languages changewith the development and changes of the social development. As the part of language-appellations of course, is no exception. In different historical periods, the Chineseappellation system presents different characteristics. Secondly, the appellation has thevalue in social and cultural studies. It has a very close relationship with language andculture, the language is the national carrier of culture, language reflects the specificculture of the different ethnic groups. Appellations has a profound cultural stigma,and its historical changes reflect changes in the old and new cultural values.This article started from specific appellation system in the "Three Kingdoms",combining with the word definitions on the formation of the corpus in "Chineseappellation Dictionary", and making corpus as the research object, and using CorpusAct, inductive and deductive method, typical cases of description and interpretation ofthe law onsocial appellation word analysis system.
