In the practice of Chinese teaching, the teaching of vocabulary is an important link. Themaser of the vocabulary influence the student’s ability to use Chinese.The choose of thevocabulary can be the key point of the ease of it to the students.It affect the learning processof learning Chinese.This essay makes an example of my teaching practice at Fuxing language and computerConfucius Classroom in Yangon, Maymar.And,“Dangdai Zhongwen”(in Burmese)is themain object of study. By contrast the vocabulary require of The international program with the“Dangdai Zhongwen” teaching material,we know there is something in common and indifferent. The international program of teaching Chinese is hosted by Hanban. The specialtyof the common ground is: in common use; well ability of word-formation. And, there aresame vocabulary runaway of The international program. The specialty of that is: lot ofprofessional words as well as spoken language words.I think the “Dangdai Zhongwen”(in Burmese) has communicative value. Nevertheless,there are too many words in each lesson,and it is too difficult to grasp.The concrete teachingsuggestions are as follows:1.Choose the fit student;2.The teacher should understandBurmese;3. Teacher should select vocabulary a second time. Conclusively, I summarize aword list for the students in short-term.After the contrast the vocabulary require of “The international Chinese general syllabus”with the “Dangdai Zhongwen” teaching material, we finally make a clear research of thechoose of the vocabulary. In that case, I can get a better understanding of my teachingexpression overseas, and give some advises to use this book. What’s more, the students willknow this book well.
