As the most representative sort of Tianjin quyi, Tianjin tune was named as a first“Intangible Cultural Heritage” in2006. Tianjin Shidiao is sung in Tianjin dialect andformed with repeating ’Kaoshan tune’ and shuzi, which performed in solo or in unisonaccording to different passions. The instruments of Tianjin Shidiao involve hur, cheng,large three-stringed, lute and cello.The everlasting of Tianjin Shidiao has a significant relationship with the developmentof ’Kaoshan shidiao’, which is the main tune of Tianjin Shidiao. We can find therelationship between Tianjin Shidiao and folk song tunes through studying the linksbetween ’Kaoshan tune’and folk song tunes. Thus, we can sort out the music historicaldevelopment of ’Kaoshan tune’ to prove its historical development trend. Meanwhile, thecreation of Tianjin Shidiao provides a new kind of material, which is advantageous tocomposing the ’New Kaoshan tune’ and development of Tianjin Shidiao.According to extensive related documentation, this thesis summaries the history ofTianjin Shidiao as well as analyzes and compares the specific music ontology by usinginduction, antitheses and music ontology analysis. After analysis and comparison onspecific music ontology, we found the relationship of ’Kaoshan tune’ and folk song tunes.Meanwhile, the whole process of Tianjin Shidiao development was also explored in thisthesis using ethnomusicology field research through site visits and Internal learningThe thesis is divided into five parts in detail, the first two chapters introduce why theauthor chose the topic and also discuss tune and Tianjin Shidiao as well as the summarizegeneral features o Tianjin Shidiao which includes basic form,musical instrument,subject,singing features,Qupai and its features,representatives ect.. The corechapters,chapter3and chapter4,which mainly discuss the name origin of basic Qupai【Kaoshan Tune】of Tianjin Shidiao and summarize the development of【Kaoshan Tune】by contrasting the same works from different periods; Find the relation between the twoby analyzing the features between tune and Qupai that the folk music uses. In the lastchapter,the author states his personal thoughts and suggestions on the future development of Tianjin Shidiao and wish such a folk art form a good inheritance and development.
