On the basis of the digital origin, this paper looks into the couple relationshipbetween Shu painting and the the Eight Diagrams in the Book of Changes, and furtherfound the relationship between the Book of Changes and the computer binary.Throughout the three digital system, at the beginning, every form of whose concept ofzero are not visible in the form of a start in virtually tangible, choosing the empty oneto say, which lead to the same Rome. It is the lack of numerical position meaning, which led to the concept of the origin of the symbol0.Firstly,it discusses the thirteenforms about the concept of zero symbols appeared in the history of Chinese language;then discusses the distinctions and structure characteristics of the current threeChinese main “〇”concept symbol—“〇”,“零”and “0”. The essential differencesbetween them is whether or not there is a kind of conjunctions “有”.The effects of thetwo kinds of structure forms are two aspects:One is the symbol to cut the analogy sex, followed by mathematical symbol replacement logical combination, the two systemcauses the settings of “〇”concept symbol form and meaning in the digital system.Throughout the thirteen“〇”concept symbols appeared in the Chinese languagesystem, there are three common usage: one is that it is used in different units; then itis used in between numerals, table space; the third, it represents vacancy. This paperagain studies deeply the Source language origin and connotation of three digit symbol“〇”、“零”and “0” in modern Chinese system. In the11th century, India invented the0, through the religious and the academic circle, in the13th century, the Italianmathematician Fibonacci (Leonardo Pisano, Fibonacci) introduced 《Abacus book》to Europe. In China, but until the end of Qing dynasty, with the emergence of counselvacancy,0was used to formal commonly. When the Chinese capital digital word “零” appeared the era of The Book of Songs,it only had “rain remaining” meaning, to the Song dynasty, had derived meaning“odds”, used to represent numbers, and in the Southern Song dynasty Shaoxing years, it was first used to represent “〇”concept, later in Qing dynasty,“零” became onepart of the Chinese digital system and make the Chinese capital digital wordbecoming a system with“壹贰叁肆伍陆'捌玖拾” which has the same table and avalue counting of the open position with “〇”.This paper probes originally thereasons that Chinese character“零”can develop into Chinese digital “零” standdingfor “〇”concept symbol. The Chinese digital word “〇”was invented by Chinese, in the history of Chineselanguage it had different usage, as a pure sign, as a punctuation, as a rhyme notenumber and as a Chinese character, the usage as a pure sign was used by court musicdepartment as the music room in Sui and Tang dynasties, this is the real source of thesign “〇”can be said of “〇”concept, but is still not a Chinese character. Officially,in 《Da Ming calendar》compiled by the government in Jin Da Ding years(1180),“〇”first represented a value vacancy in astronomical calendar count, it was also theearliest record that“〇” expressing“〇”concept.“〇”really began to indicating“〇”concept. Because of the complicated source of “〇”and in modern sense, it has aclose association with the development of “0”, the meaning of“〇” is very rich, thusled to many combinations phenomenon of “〇”, this paper clears relationship of thethree—“〇”、“零”and “0”,“洞”and“圆”(“hole” and “round”),the three with Chinesecharacters, and the relationship with the evolution of Chinese characters. It alsoexplores the relationship between the actual language of the application of rhetoricand the question about the use and translation of“〇”、“零”and “0” in dictionariescompilation from the perspective of pragmatics symbols.
