In modern times, Folk beliefs in the face of new social ideals advocated by the ChineseCommunist Party instantly become a backward, feudal superstitious things, After the founding of New China,Taishan temple has be gradual annihilation in a series of political discourse advocated by the ChineseCommunist Party, People has formed the absolute trust on the Chinese Communist Party led by Mao Zedong,The traditional folk beliefs were included Chinese Communist Party against so-called "four olds" and otherthings among the feudal. However, with the reform and opening up, People lost their collective life sanctuary,Began to re-seek spiritual sustenance, Taishan temple as the traditional folk beliefs of Shi village began tryingto revive. In this article, the revival of traditional beliefs is a bottom-up process, collective memory is the basisof its existence, national policy is a prerequisite for the reconstruction of the temple. Efforts and sponsorshipfrom different social factors such as rural elites and witches contributed to the revival of folk belief after thecollapse. Overall, The rise and fall of folk beliefs has a close relationship with the changes in national policy,In order to get a chance to survive, local beliefs must cater to central belief policy.
