Study On He Bingdi’s Historiography Achievement And Historical Thought

He Bingdi was a famous chinese-american historian.His study of history covered awide range with rich achievement. Transferred to the field of chinese history, from thestudy of Western history, and he made pioneering contributions in many domains of study.And it is a very difficult, but also a valuable academic subjects to study his historicalachievement.Based on the wide collection of historical data, this dissertation studies severalissues concerning He Bingdi’s life and historiography achievement including his lifetimeand academic intercourse, specific character and his main achievement etc. And on thebasis of the aforementioned study, this paper further demonstrates He Bingdi’scontribution to the historiography especially about the Chinese history and makesobjective comment on the status and influence of his study. After commenting on hismain achievement, this dissertation summarizes He Bingdi had its own unique style ofhistory research by historical data. He was particularly concerned about the dynamic ofhistorical research, to discerning the pursuit of first-rate historian creation. not onlyfocused on traditional historiography textual approach, but also combined with themethods of the Western historians theory and the social sciences, and with macrocomprehensive vision, but fine rigorous argument, he made his historical research. it wellbe a great reference for our future to research history.
