The Creative Approach And Reflection Of The Oral History Documentary Memoirs Of The Veterans

The combination of oral historical documents and documentaries is one of the important ways to spread the objectivity and value of historical images.The documentary " Memoirs of Veterans",an oral history documentary,combines objective principles with subjective expression,personal perspective mining with group characterization,details and emotional amplification with narrative structure to restore and " reshape" the original appearance of the history of the Sino-Vietnamese border war.The film tells the story of five Vietnam veterans.On the one hand,when they were young,they took protecting their country as their own duty.Now when people are old,they recall history and hope for the future.Their oral materials have valuable historical value.On the other hand,2019 this year coincides with the 40 th anniversary of the Sino-Vietnamese border war.By paying attention to the current life of veterans and their different roles in life,viewers should think and realize.Therefore,it can be said that Memoirs of Veterans is a meaningful exploration of the creation and presentation of oral history documentaries.This article covers four chapters.The introduction part of the first chapter briefly introduces the historical development,creation status,research status at home and abroad of the oral history documentary,as well as the background and significance of the topic selection of the oral history documentary " Memoirs of Veterans".The second chapter expounds the theme and logical structure of memoirs of a veteran.The third part is the main creative technique and presentation of " memoirs of a veteran".The fourth chapter summarizes and ponders the historical value and existing problems of the creation of " Veteran's Memoirs".
