| Pronunciation in Song dynasty is a important period in thedevelopment of pronunciation on Chinese.The Chinese pronunciationmakes a great change during this period,which is a transition fromancient times to modern times. In this paper, these works will besummarized according to three forms as follows: classical poetry, poetryand Ci. Due to limited space, this paper sums up the rhyme system ofZhou Zizhi’s poetry through the association of rhyme feet word in ancientpoetry and Ci, and studies the special phonetic phenomena in the ryhme.The poetry of Zhou Zizhi usually in “Pingshui yun†system, and therhyme of ancient poetry and Ci, to a greater degree, reflects phoneticsystem “Guangyun†and the phonetic characteristics of Wu dialects insouthern. Similar to the18common language in the Song Dynasty, theancient poetry and Ci close to Guangyun in blank part together overall.While they embodies more dialect features in some special word rhyme.And these characteristics can find most corresponding in Xuanchengdialect, which is Zhou Zizhi’s hometown.We also find (some) clues of the inflexion of dialect by historical comparison. For example, the four She—“zhen, shen, geng, zeng†inmodern Xuancheng dialect, with the characteristics of convergencing ofmain vowel and mixing of end rhyme, which were showing initial sighsin the Southern Song Dynasty or even more earlier.This paper mainly consists of three parts. They are research overview,the rhyme system of Zhou Zizhi’s rhyme in poetry, and the comparisonbetween his rhyme in poetry and Common Language and the phonetic ofdialect. |
