| This dissertation consists of a preface, a body of three sections, conclusion and bibliography.Firstly, the thesis aims to study the "D Major Second Violin Sonata" by Prokofiev from a perspective of combination of "tradition" and "innovation". Based on the characteristics of the development of the early twentieth century music and the composing style of Prokofiev, the thesis summarizes the basic characters of modern music and their connections and differences Neo-Classical Music/Neo-Classicism.Second, based on performance experiences, the author analysis the structure of the score/music piece and the seeks for the techniques, required for the music, then finds out a corresponding way for performing. It would help a violinist to understand the music piece from emotional and rational aspects better to some extent. It would also helps the player to master the overall performing skills better. In this way, the thesis makes contribution to guide music performance through a theoretical approach.. |
