During the two Jin Dynasties in Chinese history, a mass population lived in the North flowed into the South. With close and tense populated distribution, in this period it thus produced the so-called Men-Field contradiction since Chinese history has ever had due to limited farming field in such short time. The issue was interplayed by the subjective and objective, Qiao group and Wu group, Simarui group and other powers, and historical elements and natural environments. Through researching the tension’s background, causes, typicality, demonstrations, outlet, and influence, the Paper aims at interpreting some related political, economic, military milieu, digging into the history behind them further. Men-to-Field contradiction had multi-layer characteristics, unprecedented scale, and complicated and various presentations. By mean of transforming migrant people to soldiers, supportive policies, Self-reliance, transferring farming and raising areas, this problem found solution gradually at last. So its influence was far-reaching in the history with its demonstrations in politics, social economy, and military force at that time. Only in this existential background could such performance come in those related perspectives vice versa.The paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter offers introduction to the background, divided into four parts:first and foremost, frequent war affairs and population flowing., second, multi-dimension contradiction interplaying and intertwined, third, the economic development in the south of Yangtze river; The second one to several reasons of Men-to-Field:firstly, reason coming from migrant people themselves. Secondly, the poor administration of central and local governments. Thirdly, disability to support and take in migrant people in the South. Fourthly, the former developed level in the South. Fifthly, the influence of natural and geographic elements.. The third is about the characteristics of performances of Men-Field issue:first part is contrasting to other complexities; second in Jing and Xiang areas migrant people’s representational personalities; third, the characteristics of Men-Field; The forth chapter:the way-out of Men-Field issues:one, transform the migrant people to soldiers or average household men., two, make them live leisurely and seek for farming. The next way is to make them turn to the aristocrats for food and clothes as servants, tenants or food-seekers. Then other means is giving welfare money from government to transfer them to other farming lands; four, making well use of wealth to purchase grains; five, petty common people support on their own. The last chapter throws light on the influence of Men-Field issues, including its effects on the politics and economy comprehensively in the South, on the fights against wild and brute Yu tribe, and on soldier-household policies, and so forth.
