Research On The System "Production By Civil Kilns In The Name Of Imperial Kiln" During Ming Dynasty

Imperial Kiln was the product of the totalitarian authority in feudalsociety, its product is mainly used for the royal family and government. MingDynasty government began to set up Imperial Kiln in Jingdezhen imperialware factory specializing in the production of imperial porcelain, and sentofficials to regulation. Imperial Kiln implement strict management system.Many changes have taken place in the process of Imperial Kiln’s developmentsuch as management form and the mode of production and so on. The system“Production by Civil kilns in the name of Imperial Kiln” is one of thesechanges which was carried out during the late Ming Dynasty.This thesis made the discussions on production by Imperial Kiln and civilkilns industry during Ming Dynasty, The purpose was to clarify the causes ofthe system “Production by Civil kilns in the name of Imperial Kiln”.Furthermore, it explored the civil kilns when the Imperial Kiln ran themechanism “Production by Civil kilns in the name of Imperial Kiln”. At last,this thesis summed up the impacts of the industry of Jingdezhen porcelainwhen the system “Production by Civil kilns in the name of Imperial Kiln” wasmoved after the late Ming Dynasty.
