| Yi-sheng is a word formation between Huiyi and Xingsheng, which its phonetic sign indecaites both sound and meaning. Xu Shen’s Shuo Wen Jie Zi (referred to as"Shuo Wen") has recorded216Yi-sheng characters. According to the structure characteristics of Yi-sheng characters, Xu Xuan puts12philology:"謎(mi)ã€è…”(qiang)晬(zui)ã€ç½(yu)ã€å„ˆ(kuai)ã€ä½Ž(di)ã€å€º(zhai)ã€åƒ¹(jia)ã€åƒ¦(jiu)ã€é‘(chi)ã€èµ©(xi)ã€æ¶¯(ya)" to Yi-sheng characters. Yi Sheng’s Shuo Jie Ti Li mainly explained by "from a, from a, someone belongs to Yi Sheng characters"or"from a and a, someone belongs to Yi Sheng characters."This article classified Shuo Wen Ju Dou relevant Yi-sheng characters by three categories about Yi Sheng characters in specialized chapter of Wang Yun’s Shuo Wen Shi Li as main line. After combined and analysed Yi-sheng characters explained in both Xu Shen’s Shuo Wen and Duan Yucai’s Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu (referred to as"Duan Zhu"), the writer revealed the source of Yi-sheng characters’phonetic sign and summarized that phonetic sign were come from the original meaning, the extended meaning and figurative sense. In order to reflect similarities and differences of Yi-sheng characters’classification and record between Mr.Wang’s and the other Mr Duan’s and MrXu’s, the writer compared comprehensively Shuo Wen’s and Duan Zhu’s relevant Zi Li once more, finding that there are more similarities about Yi-sheng characters’research between Wang Yun and Duan Yucai, however, there are more differences between Wang Yun and Xu Shen. |
