The book Vocabulary study is an important aspect of language study has anextremely important role in the construction of Chinese vocabulary system.Jinyuan is animportant period of development of the Chinese,the Chinese vocabulary in this periodpresents its own characteristics.Guiqianzhi is of the best the anecdotal history classnotes one to study the Jinyuan language literature,to some extent,to reflect the face ofvocabulary.In this paper,Guiqianzhi vocabulary for detailed analysis,depicting the basicfeatures of its vocabulary,and sketched the vocabulary word formation features,explorenew words and meanings,little accumulation of basic materials for the study of thehistory of Chinese.In this paper,as the research object vocabulary Guiqianzhi,the splitsingle Polysyllable. monosyllabic classified in accordance with the parts of speech,complex syllable of the word alone,two types of compound words.conduct a detailedanalysis of the compound word vocabulary Features qualitative analysis,quantitativeanalysis to reveal the regularity from quantitative to qualitative,summed up thecharacteristics of the of Guiqianzhi vocabulary word formation,interpretation of theChinese Dictionary as a reference,combined with Guiqianzhi’s books in which toexplore Guiqianzhinew words,new meanings.thesis has given an emphatic research to the word-use in Guiqianzhi in cluding itsgeneral characteristics,word-formation,and those new words with new meanings.The whole thesis is divided into four parts.In the first part is the introduction to its writer,edition,and its researchachievements.In the second part,the words with different syllables are discussed by sorting all thewords into single-syllable group and disyllabic group.Notional words with singlesyllable including verb,noun,adjective,numeral,classifier.Function words with singlesyllable inchluding adverb,pronoun,preposion,conjunction,auxiliary word,interjection.Disyllabic words with two syllables,can be classified into single morpheme words aswell as compound words which covers most.All the compound words can be groupedinto six types,which are the attaching structure,the associating structure,the modifyingstructure,the subject predicate structure,verb object structure.the supplying structure.Besides,there are some disyllabic functional words.In the third part,the characteristics of word-formation in the article are mostlyanalyzed.and induces.Firsty,words were often formed grammatically then.Secondlygrammatical formation is done by association,modifying and S-V structuring,thirdly,Nouns,adjectives and verbs cover most of all the words.Besides,we discussed theallotropic precepts. Finally,in the last part new words with new meanings are discussed.
