As a representative writer of the Malaysian Chinese literature in taiwan,Zhang Guixing won two newspaper’s literature prize repeatedly with beautiful words art and Nanyang style.Famous scholars such as Wang Dewei and Huang Chinshu set a high value on his works.This thesis from the angle of homeland writing,through the collection and research of the data of Zhang Guixing, with the guidance of the diaspora point and historical perspective, this paper is aimed to study on Zhang Guixing’s four major novels on Borneo systematically.First, showing his diasport situation and the motivation of homeland writing by means of identifying the road of searching homeland. Secondly, inquirying three major themes in homeland writing,they are "double homesickness"," ethnic history writing " and " rainforest landscape ".The author combines cultural identity and native identity together by way of ar in the homeland writing, concerns Malaysia Chinese social situation through the ethnic history writing, explore humanity via the rainforest depiction. Thirdly,suming up the characteristic of figure in works, according to the classification of Chinese image, alien images and female image,and studying the deep meaning of the strategy in characteristics.In short, this paper aims to discover deep meaning in Zhang Gui-xing’s works and the significance for the discrete writing.
