The Research On The Time-travel TV Series In China

This paper takes the Time-travel TV series as the object of the research, since2010,the theme of travel through space-time had become one of the most popular movie theme on the screen, the viewers like the Time-travel TV series very much. As one of the pop culture which appeared in the The Post-modern Context, The Time-travel TV series pander to people’s liking for entertainment and suit the accepting psychology of audience, including paying attention to the instant sensuous pleasure and fantasy content. Its innovation of the narrative strategies and the artistic technique is the reason why the Time-travel TV series so popular, it is worth using for reference to the teleplay writing.This paper is based on the theory of the narrative、 post-modernism、feminist and the reception aesthetics, and it supplied a comprehensive survey of the Time-travel TV series. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Firstly, The first chapter defines the concept and scope of time-travel TV series, analysis the reason why it is so popular from the perspective of the original context, In addition, this paper broadly classifies the time-travel TV series. Secondly, the second and third chapter discusses the theme and the character image of the time-travel TV series respectively. There are two main theme, including anti-feudal and democracy and it moulds different character images of the Modern and ancient people. Lastly, the Chapter four focus on the analysis of the narrative features of time-travel TV series, including its special narrative perspective and narrative spatiotemporal. The paper also summarizes its modular narrative structure and absurd narrative strategy. What’s more, this paper illustrates the different effects by comparing the ancient and modern elements, and it summarizes the close relationship between network game and time-travel TV series.
