Chinese characters played a pivotal role in China five thousand years of cultural communication.Chinese characters are hieroglyphics, its development has a very clear context and scientific and rigorous system. The graphic design of Chinese characters is a common research problem in many designers,Graphical Chinese character is to decorate and beautify font, stroke, structure of the Chinese characters to make it full of specific forms of aesthetic feeling by using the "default","add" and "transformation".In the Chinese character graphic design, It should be started with the basic morphological and cultural characteristics of Chinese characters, and the use of unique oriental culture would bring a lot of design inspiration and inspired ideas, using the research of the Chinese character symbols and configurations laws, and then combining modern Chinese character design, a new design idea of modern Chinese character graphic is put forward. In this paper, through the analysis of the Chinese character symbols and character graphic design history and current situation, after organized the related design work, the author puts forward an idea. While in study of Western design theory and methods, it should also to be done to absorb nutrients from the Chinese culture, making Chinese traditional culture extended in the modern international design, using analysis of strokes, structure, and shape of Chinese character to make graphical design which will make the design more ethnic, cultural and international.
