A Study On The Prose Creation Theory Of Shixue Guifan For The Composition

Shixue guifan is the main standard of works of famous scholar Zhang Zi in Southern Song Dynasty period. Shixue guifan has forty volumes, according to the extended to study, behavior, officer, morality, composition and poetry, is divided into six types. The book recorded the words and deeds of Song’s many famous ministers, and referred to the original article, indicated the source. It offered a rule of words and deeds for Song’s many famous ministers and students.The composition type of Shixue guifan has four volumes. Its content is mainly the method of the composition. Although its style is "compile but do not make",on compiling and selection of materials, Zhang Zi clarified his opinion about the prose creation through the mouth of others in detail.
