Research About The Development Strategy Of Cultural And Creative Industries In Liwan,Guangzhou

Creative cultural industry, is an emerging industry with creativity at the core. It’s underthe background of economic globalization. It emphasizes an industry that a host culture or acultural factor develops and markets intellectual property by technology, originality andindustrialization.<The State12th Five-Year Plan for Cultural Reform and Development>comes up with vigorously developing the cultural innovation industry and many cities in ourcountry have put the creative cultural industry as a focus on the development of localindustries. Liwan, an old district of Guangzhou, has inherent advantages to develop creativecultural industry with the cultural heritage. Besides, developing creative cultural industry is animportant way to realize the economic transformation and construct a happy Liwan.At present, Liwan District has made some achievements in the development of culturaland creative industries, appeared agglomeration effect initially, formed its own features andpromoted the economic development of Liwan. But the problems of talent, capital and scalestill exist in the development process. In order to further improve on the existing basis, relatedresearch from the strategic level is needed.In my thesis, I describe the development situation, characteristics and existing problemsof Liwan’s creative cultural industry. And I analyze the internal, external environment andcompetitiveness in detail with PEST, Diamond Theory and SWOT, what’s more, I summarizethe advantages and disadvantages of competitiveness and come up with the developmentstrategy, the formulation of development ideas, strategic choices, strategic missions and theguarantee measures.
