His Wang Mu is a sparkling female god of Chinese myths and legends in ancient.From the perspective of the narratology, this paper researched the study of mythsnourished and analyzed the historical evolution of the narrative of His Wang Mu onthe basis of the results of predecessors,, aiming to discusses the cultural significance ofthe narrative of His Wang Mu.The research achievements in domestic and foreign of myth and tale of His WangMu are reviewed in the first chapter. In accordance with the order of the researchachievements in domestic published, the research achievements in domestic of Mythand Tale His Wang Mu are summarized from three sections:the late Qing Dynasty to"May4th Movement ";from "May4th Movement to the founding of new China, fromthe founding of new China to today. In the second chapter,the historical evolution ofnarrative of His Wang Mu is analyzed, and the research achievements of predecessorsare synthesized according to the process of the historical evolution. On the base of theachievements that is researched the second chapter is divided into five parts to carry out:First,the His Wang Mu was regarded as a demon; second,the appearance of His WangMu is changed into "people"; third, to the Han Dynasty it was lady god worship; thenthe image of historical evolution His Wang Mu is analyzed its secular sense in theTaoist sense;at last the image of historical evolution His Wang Mu is analyzed. Thecultural connotation of the historical evolution and the implication of human survivaltopic are demonstrated, and the deep impression of the narrative of His Wang Mu isanalyzed under the influence of the development of Chinese culture.In the thirdchapter,from the perspectives of narratology,myth and tale of His Wang Mu isanalyzed. After the major artistic achievements of His Wang Mu are summarized,narrative mode of the objective narration by the third person narrative and underdifferent cultural background of5different kinds of narrative Angle of view areanalyzed. Then five kinds of plot structure, five major motifs and six images thenarrative of His Wang Mu are discussed, the narrative of His Wang Mu which containsa strong life consciousness and the splendor of has been analyzed systematacially. This article drew the conclusion: we can keep pace with The Times by studying thecharacteristics of the narrative of His Wang Mu; today the narrative research of HisWang Mu helps to the inheritance and development of the Chinese traditional culture.The future narrative of His Wang Mu is worth looking forward to and in theconstruction of cultural power, the narrative of His Wang Mu has its specialsignificance.
