Researches On "X Bude"and "Bude X"

The object of this research is“X bude”（X不得）and”bude X”（不得X）.We described“X bude”(X不得) and“bude X”（不得X）detailed from synchronicand diachronic perspective, we also analysis and summarized the similarities anddifferences between“X bude”（X不得）and”bude X”（不得X）. The thesis consistsof seven chapters.Chapter one mainly introduces the significance of this topic and the relatedresearch, pointed out the research method and corpus sources.Chapter two we examined“budeX”（不得X）. Firstly,we examined theconstitution of“budeX”（不得X）and summarized that X in“bude X”（不得X）are verbs and nouns. Then make a detailed description from the syntax, semanticsand pragmatics.Chapter three we examined the special structure“budebu”（不得不）. Firstly,we divided“budebu”（不得不）into two different kinds, and then we make adetailed description from the syntax, semantics and pragmatics. In particular, weinvestigated“budebu”（不得不）from modality.Chapter four we examined“X bude”（X不得）. According to the solidificationdegree of“Xbude”（X不得）, we class“Xbude”（X不得）into“Xbude1”（X不得1）and“Xbude2”（X不得2）firstly, then describe the component of“Xbude”（X不得）, especially the“X”, and finally we make a detailed descriptionfrom the syntax,semantics and pragmatics.Chapter five we examine the Grammatical Process of“bude”（不得）. Wedescribe the grammatical process of“bude”（不得）,and point out that thegrammaticalization of“de”（得）and the Neighboring Principles are the mainmotivations. Chapter six we make a comparative analysis between“Xbude”（X不得）and”bude X”(不得X). Using the comparative analysis method, we compare the“X”’scomposition,their differences in syntax, semantics and pragmatics. And at last wemake a conclusion that the strength of syntax degree is the main reason for theirdifferences.Chapter seven concludes the thesis, summarizing the main viewpoint of eachchapter. Pointing out the deficiency of this thesis and the possible areas of furtherresearch on this topic.
