The adjective reduplication is an important grammar. The authorresearches"Development Chinese"of teaching material used by themiddle foreign students of Inner Mongolia Normal University and foundsthat the interpretation and arrangement of adjective reduplication is notvery systematic and scientific in this textbook. The author sums up thefive main types of adjective reduplication in accordance with the views ofa number of students of the intermediate stage. The author summarizesadjective reduplication in the intermediate textbooks" DevelopmentChinese" and induces vocabulary of the adjective reduplicationaccording to above five types and attaches to the back of the textbook tofacilitate students inspection and comparison. Then, the authorsummarizes syntactic function, grammatical meaning and overlappingcondition of the adjective reduplication as the theoretical support to thisarticle, and facilitates the interpretation of article errors after part. Theauthor gave out40questionnaires to intermediate level foreign students inInner Mongolia Normal University and taken back32copies, of which30copies were effective. Questionnaire of110questions, author summed up as chart of" superimposed type and master grammar adjective offoreign students".Through the data in the table can be seen that grammarof the adjective reduplication students which is rather poor, which isbetter. The author sums up six types of error through these data andanalyses foreign students four reasons of error, there are The NegativeTransfer, negative transfer of the target language knowledge, theinfluence of learning strategies and communication strategies, the impactof the learning environmental. In addition, this article has analyzedarrangement, grammar explanations and exercises of adjectivereduplication in the" Development Chinese" to influences foreignstudents to study them. Finally, the author puts forward the correspondingteaching strategies according to the types and causes of error. Teachingstrategy divides into classroom teaching and arrangement of Chinese as aforeign language teaching material and puts forward opinions on thesequence, methods of the adjective reduplication. The author putsforward some suggestions about arrangement, grammar explanation andpractice of the adjective reduplication in the"Development Chinese".The author hopes this paper can help foreign students in Inner MongoliaNormal University to learn the adjective reduplication.
