A Study On Electronic Interactive Picture Book Design

Electronic interactive picture books is a branch of the e-books, it is the electronic derivatives of traditional picture books. Compare with the traditional paper picture books, Electronic interactive picture books not only from the perspective of image, audio-visual re-creation of the art of picture books, but also adding interactive elements. so that readers can take the initiative to participate in the story and have more fun in their reading process.My electronic interactive picture books research focuses on the following aspects:First, for the content planning, I mainly research the way to planning the content of picture book to arouse the reader’s interest in reading;Second, for the visual elements, to study the visual performance in the creation of electronic interactive picture book, make the art effects to meet the artistic and aesthetic needs of the readers;Third, for picture books from traditional paper conversion to electronic interactive picture books, I research how to combine images, text, sound, video, games and other elements to develop electronic interactive picture books.This paper research base on the literature of traditional picture books and classes and interaction design, analysis the case of electronic interactive illustrated book market, intended outline base on the electronic interactive picture book creation step, dividing six chapters to research the various elements in the creation of electronic interactive picture books:In the first chapter, I analyzes the research background, to sort the development of electronic interactive picture books in three phases;The second chapter, from the theme of the story, visual style, screen script to discussed in detail the design of interactive picture books;The third chapter, research focus on the combination of storytelling and interactive electronic interactive picture books, study the interactive behavior, interactive interface and interactive voice, summed up the principles and methods of interaction design electronic interactive picture books;The fourth chapter, combination of interactive design principles for evaluation, Proposed the evaluation criteria against the late stage of electronic interactive picture books;The fifth chapter, from theoretical research of the past few chapters, to practice the electronic interactive picture books design;The sixth chapter, sum up the full paper and future prospects for the development of the field of electronic interactive picture books.This paper study the knowledge of several disciplines point about cross-picture books, e-books, interactive games, new media, this field has a comprehensive, cross-cutting and innovation further.
