| This article uses the Chinese manuscripts published by the National Library of Vietnam and the photocopied Chinese manuscripts in Vietnamese published by the Chinese and Vietnamese academic circles as material sources.According to the themes,fonts,and the richness of folk characters,more than 100 kinds are selected as the investigation objects of this paper.The object of the survey is to investigate the phenomenon and regularity of Vietnamese Chinese folk characters and to explore the character characteristics of Vietnamese manuscripts.At present,most of the Vietnamese and Chinese manuscripts we can see belong to the pen-written documents of the 19th and 20th centuries,and the fonts used are basically regular scripts,running scripts,and cursive scripts.The study of folk characters in Vietnamese Chinese script is one of the contents of the study of modern Chinese characters.The article is divided into seven chapters in addition to the appendix.The first chapter is the introduction,divided into four parts:the first section is the origin of the topic,an overview of the Vietnamese manuscript resources,and an explanation of related concepts.The second section explains the Vietnamese and Chinese manuscript materials used in this paper and then discusses the philological significance of this research.The third section is an overview of related research.The fourth section is this paper’s research idea,research method,and research theory.The second chapter studies the traditional Chinese characters in Vietnamese manuscripts.The Vietnamese script inherits the folk characters,the common characters in China and Vietnam.To study their configuration,we can refer to the relevant results of the configuration research of folk characters in my country.However,there are still some controversial issues in analyzing the configuration of folk Chinese characters,so the first section of this chapter discusses these controversial issues.The second section divides the inherited folk characters in Vietnamese Chinese manuscripts into nine types:simplified folk characters,traditional Chinese folk characters,displacement folk characters,replacement of folk characters with parts,corrupted folk characters,combined folk characters,writing alienated folk characters,cursive folk characters,and folk characters derived from ancient texts.Based on the classification,this section explores these folk words with examples.The third chapter is the study of the variation of folk characters in Vietnamese Chinese scripts.Variations of folk characters represent the national characteristics of Vietnam and are the critical research content of this paper.This chapter is divided into three sections.The first section is the study of the configuration of the variation of folk characters,which is divided into simplified variation,morphological variation,meaning variation,symbol variation,error variation,cursive variation,cursive script variation,and the whole variation so on.The second section is hierarchical research on the variation of folk characters in Vietnamese script.Using the literature survey and comparative analysis methods,the level of variant folk characters in Vietnamese Chinese manuscripts is determined,divided into three categories:core variant folk characters,general variant folk characters,and diffuse variant folk characters.The third section is an illustration of Vietnamese written folk characters,choosing the more abundant folk characters to describe and analyze.This chapter excavates some new forms of Vietnamese variant folk characters,which is of academic significance to the research on the dissemination of Chinese characters in Vietnam.Among the Vietnamese written folk characters,the folk characters composed of grass common characters and simple common symbols are rich,diverse and novel,which are of great value in the study of characters.The fourth and fifth chapters of this paper are deeply analyzed and studied in this paper.The fourth chapter is the study of Vietnamese Chinese herbal characters.This chapter is divided into five sections.The first section is about Vietnamese Chinese calligraphy and its characteristics.The second section analyses the roots of Vietnamese Chinese herbal writing folk characters.This section selects the commonly used sources of Chinese herbal characters,conducts induction and analysis,and compares them with Chinese herbal characters to explain the inheritance and evolution relationship between them.In the third section,from the perspective of the partial variant of the Vietnamese grass character and the confusion between the partial.The fourth section describes and analyzes the distinct components of Vietnamese cursive characters.The fifth section is a mixed example of Chinese characters.The fifth chapter studies the simple and vulgar symbols in the folk characters in Vietnamese and Chinese scripts.Including the configuration of alternative symbols and double-text symbols in Vietnamese script folk characters.The sixth chapter is the study of the folk characters in Vietnamese and Chinese scripts from the perspective of East Asia.Symbols replace folk characters,which is a strange landscape in the configuration of East Asian folk characters.This chapter will sort out a variety of representative alternative symbols in Vietnamese folk characters,such as the simplification of the cursive symbols(?)and 品,the simplification of the repeated parts,the symbols 匕,寸,厶,etc.At the same time,combined with east Asian Chinese literature,the origin and evolution of substitute symbols in Vietnamese and Other East Asian Chinese character circles such as Japan and Korea are discussed.The seventh chapter is the remainder.It is divided into three parts:the research innovation,the research deficiency,and the future research prospect.The appendix is the "Compilation of Common Characters in Vietnamese Chinese Scripts".It has conducted an in-depth investigation of more than 70 types of Vietnamese and Chinese manuscripts,surveyed and sampled folk characters among them,and compiled the glyphs and example sentences of the folk characters. |
