Overlap is an important form of Chinese language, it is also a light spotof the natural Chinese. Therefore overlap word teaching has become adifficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Among the manyoverlapping words of Chinese, overlap of descriptive words is very powerfulin the process of actual communication, their use is also more frequent. Butwe found that in the teaching practice, many students whose levels haverelatively high, still not too will use this typical expression overlap, greatlyweakened the degree of accuracy and vivid Chinese expressions. Overlappingoccasionally try to use a descriptive word, students also often appears in useprocess errors.Against the status quo of using avoid overlapping descriptive words anderrors, this paper focus on descriptive overlapping word structure andfunction analysis, discusses descriptive overlapping words mainly useprinciple, on the basis of the analysis of the errors, the acquisition errorshappen, and summarized. Starting from the purpose of address errors at thesame time put forward the corresponding teaching strategies, so as to betterguide the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.In this paper, the research methods mainly include: function analysis andstructure analysis, comparative analysis and errors analysis, combiningquantitative statistics and qualitative analysis, together with combination ofdiachronic study.
