From China in1913the first feature length films appeared, up to now hasexperienced in120years, suffered many hardships and frustrations of the Chinese filmart in the hundred years of development process, the vast literature resources alwaysgoes hand in hand with it, and give it to enlighten and help, and vigorously promotedthe development of Chinese film art.In the literary works adapted into a movie director, especially prominent is ZhangYee Mou, Zhang Yee Mou has been a novel with the director. At present, the researchon Zhang Yee Mou film is mostly focused on Zhang Yee Mou’s film image morphology,Zhang Yee Mou and the artistic features of the fifth generation, Zhang Yee Mou film,narrative style and works of Zhang Yee Mou, comments, etc., which, though withoccasional articles deals with Zhang Yee Mou’s movie adaptation art, but often is notcomprehensive, not system, or only in Zhang Yee Mou’s early films. This paper tries toabandon the great and general comments, choose early film three movies, the late filmtwo, careful analysis.In this paper, based on the Zhang Yee Mou film adapted from the former works offiction and film adaptation after comparative analysis, this paper mainly discusses threelate early films and two films, the author thinks that the five films is the mostrepresentative meaning, Zhang Yee Mou to draw international attention to adaptation isthe most successful film red sorghum, having strong criticism of the feudal system offilm raise the red lantern ", and was banned after adaptation but remains in the minds ofmany of the classic film "alive", after the middle of the precipitation, zhang once againreturn to the "novel took the movie" the creation of the track, the creation of two latemovie "hawthorn tree and the jinling thirteen women.
