Zhu Xi’s thoughts set a large part of neo-confucianism,and have far-reaching influence to later generations. Zhu’s students share in the inheritance and development of Zhu Xi’s thoughts, but also in the political, social and so on,according to get king street concept, and to engage in moral folk practice. It is these people social and political practice of neo-confucianism, make neo-confucianism to be orthodox thinking at the same time, also gradually promotion to the society, become a kind of positive spirit resources and ethics. Therefore this paper choose Zhu Xi’s student Chen Mi for case study, through his life, family, and teacher, contacts with friends, his thoughts, work practice, to investigation the relationship between the thoughts and social practice, meanwhile the practice how to influence the spread of thoughts, and to understand the development of neo-confucianism after zhu Xi, has a certain representativeness.
