| Advocating "odd" and "Magic" is the unique aesthetic qualities of Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories. It is utterly different from the historical novels which pay attention to "positive" and "truth" in the material form. Although good at magic, such excellent novels having the contradictions and struggles of the political, ethical, religious and other aspects of real life as the reference, the strange God Daimon as the main theme, make an interpretation and recreation to reach f the organic unity of the fantasy and the reality. This paper intends to make an interpretation about the cultural and aesthetic significance of Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories, starting with intergenerational conflict as the entry point, having the excellent Ghost Stories "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" for example.Based on the results about Ghost Stories of domestic predecessors, focusing on theoretical innovation, having the famous masterpieces for the case, this paper tries to explore the profound interpretation of the Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories towards social life. That is to say, all ghosts have human relationship and all wizards understand human world. This paper strives to make a multi-angle and maximum interpretation about the cultural values of the Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories.The paper consists of six parts:introduction, the body part of four chapters, and conclusion. In the Introduction, based on a review of the Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories, the research perspective has been proposed. That is, this paper intends to make an interpretation about the cultural and aesthetic significance of Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories, starting with intergenerational conflict as the entry point.The first chapter is to sort out the definition, interpret the connotation of "intergenerational conflict" and "Ghost Stories", describe the research profile of the intergenerational relationships and the intergenerational relationships of the literary world, focus on the explanation of the possibility and necessity of intergenerational conflict in the Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories.The second chapter focuses mainly on the inductive analysis of the text itself. Based on careful reading, this chapter is to summarize the main types of intergenerational conflict in mythical novels "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in a tabular format, make a specific appreciation about the fresh typical artistic images, which have become a classic in China and the world literature gallery.The third chapter is mainly to illustrate the cultural aesthetic values of Ming Dynasty Ghost Stories, embodied in the intergenerational conflict. First, it is to analyze the subversion of folk literature according to Bakhtin’s theory, such as the image of monk Tang in the monk literary which is an aesthetic subversive image of Xuanzang in the history. By comparing the differences between the holy man Xuanzang in the history and monk Tang in the novel "Journey to the West", it is to analyze the clever use of satire, that is, the irony of the monk Tang is embodied in the conflict of master monk Tang and apprentice Wukong relationship with contrast, repeated verification practices. Secondly, from the review of the development process of Chinese filial piety culture, it is to make a specific analysis to summarize the rebel against "father guides son""ruler guides subject" in "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", in which the author expressed the desire and value proposition for bidirectional and interactive intergenerational harmony.The fourth chapter is not only to look for the primary mechanism and platform on intergenerational harmony in contemporary society by modern revelation of intergenerational conflict and outlook of intergenerational harmony, but also pay attention to the art of love ". Finally, the paper is finished with brief conclusion.Now with increasingly diverse in literary studies, this paper chooses the intergenerational conflict as a breakthrough, two works of "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" for example, which got maximum achievements in Ghost Stories, analyzes and states various aspects of Ming society’s political, economic, ideological aspects. The maximum value of this paper lies in certain clear reference for social development in contemporary modem transition period. |
