The Clinical Study Of The Compoud Fengling Granules Treatment Type Ⅲ Prostatitis

This study is to explore the characteristic of the pathogen damp associated with typethree prostatitis and puts forward that the pathogen damp is the primary pathologic factor ofit and that the pathogen damp blocks collaterals is the main contradiction of refractorysituation. And we have established the therapy that the wind medication should be chosenfirst to clear damp according to the theory" wind could clear damp". This dissertation isdivided into two parts.Theory review:Having reviewed and summarized studies of modern medicine and academic researchof traditional Chinese medicine about type three prostatitis, we could find that mordemmedicine emphsize to summerize its development with respect to the diagnosis andclassification、pathologic factors and mechanism, and therapeutic progression; while thetraditional Chinese medicine emphasize to generalize retrospectively its name andtherapeutic methods.Clinical study:Purpose: To observe the effectivity and safety of the compoud fengling granules totreat chronic pelvic pain syndrome and explore the association with interleukin-2,interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 in serum. Methods : To investigate 53 patients who weredivided into two teams. The compoud fengling team was treatment group and the longqingpills team was control group. These patients were randomly put into the two groupsaccording to the random-number table. The number of the two group was two to one andevaluate the effectivity after 4 weeks.Results: In treatment group, 7 cases very effective,21cases effective, 8 cases ineffective and the total effective rate was 77.78%(28/36); amongthese, in typeⅢa teams, 4 cases very effective,9 cases effective, 4 cases ineffective and thetotal effective rate was 76.47%(13/17); in typeⅢb teams, 3 cases very effective,12 caseseffective, 4 cases ineffective and the total effective rate was 78.95%(15/19). There was nosignificant difference between the above teams in total effective rate(P＞0.05),but comparedwith the situation before treating,there was very significant difference NIH-CPSI(P＜0.01) according to X~2-analysis. There was very significant difference compared with the situationbefore treating with respect to interleukin-2(P＜0.01); there was a significant differencecompared with the situation before treating with respect to interleukin-6 andinterleukin-8(P＜0.05). There were no adverse events during treatment period. In the contolgroup, 2 cases very effective,9 cases effective, 6 cases ineffective and the total effective ratewas 64.71%(11/17) and there was no significant difference between the treatment groupand the control group(P＞0.05) according to X~2-analysis. Conclusion: The compoudfengling granules has great effectivity in treating typeⅢprostatitis:①could relieve painin pelvic、better urethral symptom and promote quality of life;②may improve content ofinterleukin-2 interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 in serum.There was no significant differencebetween typeⅢa and typeⅢb and no severe adverse events during treatment.
