A Study Of The Related Factors And Syndrome Of TCM In Post-Stroke Depression

Post-stroke depression (PSD) is one of the most common complications of stroke. Because of the higher of the morbidity of stroke year after year, migration of clinical therapy to stroke disease itself, and shortage of the prevention and therapy of PSD, caused the morbidity of PSD is higher and higher day after day. It have already been threated the recovery and life safety of the patients who suffer from PSD seriously. We review and summarize all doctors’ recognition of the etiology, pathogeny, syndrome and therapy of PSD from antiquity to now, especially pay more attention to the related factors of PSD. Based on the theoretical research and clinical experience, we try to find the relationship between the related factors and the differentiation type of PSD through clinical observation, expect to supply evidence for the early prevention and therapy of PSD.Based on the diagnostic criteria of CCMD-Ⅱand DSM-Ⅳ, 26 patients with PSD were choosed as observation target. We collected the objective index (as age, gender, character, support of family and the society, location of stroke, infarction or hemorrhage, whether complicate with hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipemia, etc) after stroke and before depression. And differentiate the patients to 3 types(as liver Qi stagnation, blood stagnation and phlegm accumulation, deficiency of heart and kidney and spleen). Object to find the relationship between the indexes and types respectively.Conclusion: the relationship between the related factors and the differentiation type of PSD are as follows: the old people always become to the type of deficiency of heart and kidney and spleen; the introvertional people always become to the type of liver Qi stagnation; male and the people whose TG and LDL are higher than normal always become to the type of blood stagnation and phlegm accumulation; the people who have a history of hypertension always become to the latter two types; there is no certain relationship between the types and the related factors (as the support from the society and family, whether have a history of diabetes and encephalatrophy, TG and HDL is high or not, blood coagulation function, ischemia or hemorrhage, location of stroke, etc.)...
