Objective:In order to discuss the specificity effect of acu-points, we observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) of different acupoints on auditory sensory gating potential P50/Mismatch negativity of event-related potentials in rabbits with acute myocardial ischemia (AMI). We campare the latency and amplitudes of event-related potentials of heart sutra "Shenmen" and lung sutra "Taiyuan" and lay the foundation for discussing the brain central regulation mechanism of electro-acupuncturing the heart sutra acu-points, and provide adequate scientific basis for further research and theoretical innovation.Methods:Choosing50adult healthy Qing Zilan rabbits (with weight of2.5±0.5kg, male or female, raising in different cage),10were chosen randomly as the normal group, The others were duplicated acute myocardial ischemia (AMI) model with ligature the anterior descending branch of left coronary artery under anesthesia conditions. The successful model rabbits were divided into model group electro-acupuncture "Shenmen" group and electro-acupuncture "Taiyuan" group, at last10rabbits in each group were kept to analyze. EA(1mA,2Hz) was applied to bilateral HT7and LU9(the bulge site of the triangular muscle)for15min,auditory sensory gating potential P50/Mismatch negativity of event-related potentials were recorded by Neuroscan workstation. One E-prime2.0was used as stimulation regulator, Scan4.3was used for recording results and analyzing the results of the difference configurations. The Spass13.0for Windows was used for Statistical analysisResults:1. Electrocardiogram of Powerlab:In comparison with control group, the heart rate of AMI rabbits decreased significantly, ST segment elevation and T wave inversion.2. Auditory sensory gating potential P50:In comparison with control group, S1-S2 difference and rate of P50decreased significantly and S2/S1ratio increased significantly after AMI (P<0.01). After15min after EA, S1-S2difference、rate of P50in HT7group were significantly higher than those of model group (P<0.01), suggesting a favorable inhibition of EA of HT7on the increased HR and improved sensory gating. No significant differences were found between LU9and model groups, in both S1-S2difference/rate of P50and S2/S1ratio (P>0.05).3.Mismatch negativity (MMN):In comparison with control group,MMN latency in the model group was significantly increased (P<0.01),the amplitude of MMN was markedly decreased in the model group (P<0.01);while In comparison with model group,,MMN latency was obviously decreased(P<0.01),and the amplitude of MMN was evidently increased(P<0.01) in the HT7group; there was significant difference between the HT7group and LU9group (P<0.01)Conclusion:1. Rabbits of acute myocardial ischemic have damaged automated information processing ability and sensory gating ability.2. EA of HT7can correct AMI induced decrease of P50in the rabbit, while EA of LU9have not this effect, suggesting a relatively specific efficacy of EA of different acupoints on sensory gating activities.3. EA of HT7can correct AMI induced decrease of MMN in the rabbit, while EA of LU9have not this effect, suggesting a relatively specific efficacy of EA of different acupoints on automated information processing ability...
