ObjectivesThe study aims at assessing quality of life of Young Accountants in Guangzhou, and evaluate there liability and validity of SF-36in application of QOL assessment among Young Accountants in Guangzhou. To study the main factors which influence quality of life of Young Accountants in Guangzhou.Methods:1SubjectsStratified sampling was carried on in1800Young Accountants in Guangzhou during the first half of the year2013.2Methods(1) Operational definitionWorld Health Organization (WHO) considers Quality of Life to be "the individual’s perception of his or her position in life, within the cultural context and value system he or she lives in, and in relation to his or her goals, expectations, parameters, and social relations. It is a broad-ranging concept affected in a complex way by the person’s physical health, psychological state, level of independence, social relationships, and their relationship to salient features of their environment."(2) InstrumentQuestionnaire of quality of life for Accountants was designed, which included SF-36and factors like demography, life way, and event. SF-36is an international popular scale about health-related quality of life, which is widely used by measurement about quality of life, evaluation of clinical trial effect, assessment of civil health policy and similar field. It was proved to be well in reliability and validity.(3) Quality controlThis research was supported by the Youth Foundation of Social Science Humanity of Education of China (NO:10YJCZH192) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NO:81172775).The sampling design and the statistical analysis were both performed according to the design of this subject to make sure the whole study was scientific and reasonable. Investigator explained to subjects how to fill in the scale before the test. Then subjects should asses themselves based on their understanding to each item independently without others’influence. Investigators should not give suggesting guide. After the investigation, we selected the received questionnaires, rejected questionnaires which accomplishment ratio was under80%, writing quality was not high (for instance all of the questions were with the same answer) or two questionnaires shared totally the same answer. Database was established by Epidata3.02, and double input was conducted to make the lowest deviation.(4) Data processing and statistics①Data processingBuild up the database by Epidata3.02and process the data by SPSS15.0.②StatisticsDescribe quality of life of young accountants in Guangzhou by Descriptive and Frequency module. To examine young accountants’ quality of life and its influencing factors t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and multivariate stepwise regression analysis were performed.Result:1. The response rate is99.17%. Participants concerned content of the questionnaire, and they would like to finish it.2. The average scores of SF-36of young accountants in GuangzhouThe average scores of physiological and psychological of SF-36and its total score were (76.39±12.53),(67.96±13.74),(72.10±12.02) respectively.3. The single factor analysis on influential factors of quality of life in young accountants in GuangzhouThe difference of SF-36total scores was no statistical significance among different gender (t=0.336, P=0.737). The difference of SF-36total scores was statistical significance among different only age (F=3.135,P=0.044), marital status (F=-2.037,P=0.042), work time (F=29.292,P=0.000), living place (F=5.166,P=0.006), eating habits (F=26.545, P=0.000), physical exercise (F=43.943,P=0.000), social intercourse (F=78.814,P=0.000).4. Factors of quality of life in young accountants in GuangzhouMultiple stepwise regressions showed the coefficient of determination of equation was0.576. That means the12variables from the multiple stepwise regressions can be combined to explain57.60%of total score. Inspection of the equation, F=80.568, P <0.001. The multiple stepwise regressions showed that factors, such asphysical exercise, gender, work time, sleeping time, age, living situation related to young accountants’quality of life.(P<0.01).5. Relationship between health-related quality of life and sub-health state in young accountants in Guangzhou.There was a significant positive correlation between SHMS V1.0and physical, psychological level of quality of life. Canonical correlation analysis revealed that psychosocial symptom, vitality, positive emotion, physical mobility function, social adaptability and psychological were the main factors influenced SHMS V1.0and quality of life, respectively.6. Suggestions(1) Give a three-tier intervention plan on health management for in young accountants in Guangzhou, according to the main factors affecting sub-health state of them.(2) Monitor, analysis, evaluate and forecast young accountants’health, so that to give relevant suggestions and system health management.(3)Manage department should pay close attention to sub-health state of young accountants. Conclusions:1. Main factors that influenced Young Accountants’quality of life included working entertainment, physical exercises, eating habit, operating computer and sedentariness.2. Give a three-tier intervention plan on health management for Young Accountants in Guangzhou, according to the main factors affecting sub-health state of them.
