In China, it has been traditionally used in Chinese folk medicine for the treatment of sore throat, cold and cough and so on, suggesting that the active extracts with anti-inflammatory effect.Inflammation, a host defense mechanism, is an immediate response of the body to tissue injury caused by microbial infection and other noxious stimuli. However, inadequate resolution of inflammation and uncontrolled inflammatory reactions can evoke a state of chronic inflammation, which is a common etiologic factor for various human ailments including cancer. This subject is designed to verify FJ1validation activity and resistance to clarify its mechanism of action. We use Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) inducing the mononuclear macrophage in mice leukemia cells (RAW264.7) to build the Inflammatory cells model. Determined by MTT test FJ1cytotoxic activity as well as the protection of LPS damage cell activity, the results show that, both with time and dose dependent, cytotoxic within the scope of the security, FJ1can improve the cell activity of protection groups. RT-PCR test the expression of iNOS, COX-2and TNF-a, the results show that, all three were significantly reduced with the increase of concentration of FJ1. Determined by MTT test cytotoxic activity of PQ, the results show that the PQ inhibit the proliferation of PC12. both with time and dose dependent. Flow cytometry technique to determine cell mitochondrial membrane potential and cell apoptosis, it turns out that the high concentration of PQ decreased cell membrane potential and induced PC12apoptosis. The above results have been same as the reported data of MPTP and other laboratory to build the model. So it could be used as a following study experiment.
