The Study About Zoloft Treating The Acute Coronary Syndrome(ACS)Patients Who Get Depression After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention(PCI)

ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of Zoloft in treatment of depression to the acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) and the effects on low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), high-sensitivity c-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level.Methods150patients were given PCI treatments who diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome, and then depressed patients were screened out and given Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD) marks. Those patients were divided into two groups randomly and given them psychotherapy and Zoloft treatment respectively. Two months later, compared the two sets’levels about LDL、hs-CRP, made use of Hamilton depression rating scale once more to give these patients marks, the curative effect was judged according to the score points.Results(1)Two months later,compared with control group(2.13±0.62mmol/L0.45±0.33ng/ml), Zoloft for treatment group(1.70±0.56mmol/L>0.27±0.20ng/ml) had lower level about LDL、hs-CRP.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)(2)After treatment, the two groups of patients with depression symptoms were improved.The curative effect of Zoloft for depression treatment was better obviously than the control group.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)(3)Compared with the control group,the adverse drug reaction of Zoloft was no significant increased.Conclusion(1)The depression in patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI, give Zoloft for treatment is safe.(2)Treatment for depression, drugs may be more effective than simple psychological treatment.(3)Zoloft indirectly reduces risk factors of coronary heart disease, may has an important significance on the prognosis of the patients.
