ObjectiveThe purpose of this research is to understand the incidence of low birth weight in recent years, discusses the occurred factors on the pregnancy previous reproductive history and single live low birth weight infant. In order to reduce the incidence of low birth weight in this region, but also to reduce the intrapartum complications occur, ensure the safety of the maternal and children’s disease burden and improve the quality of population, and measures for prevention of maternal and child health care strategies provide a scientific basis.MethodsThis project in Gansu Provincial Maternity and Child-care Hospital of maternal obstetric delivery and low birth weight as the research object. Select375hospitalized single live low birth weight infants(LBW),With the same period single live normal birth weight infants performed a case-control analysis of5157cases, Maternal health formulated by using the self-designed questionnaire, the same questionnaire survey is carried out on the maternal, and extract part of medical records. Comparative effects of the pregnancy previous reproductive history of low birth weight infant occurred. After arrange Epidata3.1is adopted to establish the database of data input data and logic verification, statistical analysis of the data by SAS9.3.Respectively using the single factor and multiple factors non-conditional Logistic regression model analysis of fertility history associated with low birth weight OR strength (single factor analysis) and the aOR (OR) adjustment.ResultsSelection in February2011to December2012in gansu province maternity hospital maternity and children’s health care centers all the informed consent of pregnant women in childbirth, a total of6614people, accounting for81.07%of all pregnant women,5514of them entered the stage of the research direction in the final analysis. Among them the occurring rate of low birth weight in375cases,5.67%, normal birth weight in5157cases, the incidence of77.97%. Single factor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis found that ever had a history of pregnancy (OR=1.46,95%CI1.461.18) and the multiple pregnancies (OR=1.80,95%CI1.801.40) of maternal than never pregnant are more likely to have low birth weight; Always the more the greater the possibility of low birth weight, production time always1,2OR more production time respectively in the risk of low birth weight (OR=1.65,95%CI1.651.29),(OR=2.68,95%CI2.681.71); Have a history of spontaneous abortion for many times is a risk factor for low birth weight (OR=2.70,95%CI2.701.67); Has a history of premature birth, low birth weight and abnormal gestation and birth on the basis of the history are the risk factors for low birth weight (OR=6.31,95%CI6.312.86),(OR=4.62,95%CI4.621.48),(OR=3.26,95%CI3.262.07).Multifactor Non-conditional Logistic regression analysis found that will be made between gestation and birth on the basis of mutual adjustment and other potential confounders, always repeated spontaneous abortion history is a risk factor for low birth weight (OR=2.34,95%CI2.341.22), a history of preterm birth and abnormal gestation and birth on the basis of risk factors for low birth weight (OR=4.84,95%CI4.842.01),(OR=2.09,95%CI2.091.22).Single factor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis found that pregnancy time, production time, spontaneous abortion history is a risk factor for preterm low birth weight (OR=1.72,95%CI1.721.34),(OR=1.99,95%CI1.991.54),(OR=1.80,95%CI1.801.30), and as the pregnancy time, and with the increase of number of spontaneous abortion increased the risk of low birth weight, pregnant time for1:OR=1.45,95%CI1.45to1.09, pregnant times>=2times:OR=2.11,95%CI2.111.58),(1times:OR=1.82,95%CI1.82to1.38, pregnant times>=2times:OR=3.01,95%CI3.011.84),(natural abortion:number1times OR=1.49,95%CI1.49to1.00, spontaneous abortion number>=2:OR=2.89,95%CI2.891.71); Has a history of preterm birth and abnormal gestation and birth on the basis of is also a risk factor for preterm low birth weight (OR=8.32,95%CI8.32to3.75, OR=3.57,95%CI3.572.18). For full term low birth weight, mother always low birth weight is a risk factor for its delivery (OR=15.13,95%CI15.134.19).Multifactor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis found that will be made between gestation and birth on the basis of mutual adjustment and other potential confounders, after repeated spontaneous abortion history, history of preterm labor, abnormal gestation and birth on the basis of all is a risk factor for preterm low birth weight occur (OR=2.75,95%CI2.751.34),(OR=6.55,95%CI 6.552.70),(OR=2.18,95%CI2.181.21); Always low birth weight is delivery term risk factors for low birth weight (OR=7.93,95%CI7.931.72).Conclusion1. The incidence of low birth weight in Gansu province was5.67%, higher than the national incidence of low birth weight newborn.2. Low birth weight was significantly associated with history of spontaneous abortion, premature birth, adverse maternal history of history, the history of low birth weight are closely related.3. The happening of the term low birth weight is closely related to the history of low birth weight, and with history of spontaneous abortion, preterm birth history, such as abnormal gestation and birth on the basis of correlation is smaller.4. According to the findings suggest that women of childbearing age of pregnancy, prenatal health education should be strengthened, enhance health care during pregnancy, control the cause of risk factors for low birth weight, reduce the incidence of low birth weight, when necessary, family planning department of public health advice corresponding prevention strategy and measures.
