In this study the head side in the measurement data of digital X ray film, there is ameasurement (L5:N’-ANS’ high above) can be used for sex determination, totalcoincidence rate was84.5%, the accuracy is higher.2. Although this study only one index were chosen, but it is more convenient to use.As long as the residual bone does not affect the measurement indicators and can usethe discriminant function for sex determination.3. This study adopts the Fisher discriminant method to carry on the sexdetermination, the method is a reliable and practical method, and the use ofCross-validated(a) method to effect evaluation is more objective.4. According to this study head side digits X ray film measurements discriminantmethod, has established the adult sex the sex determination in forensic anthropologyoffers a new judgement index and discriminant method.
