Expression And Significance Of SYK And BNIP3in Endometrial Cancer

Objective：This study is designed to explore the expression and clinicalsignificance of the SYK(spleen tyrosine kinase) and BNIP3（Bcl-2adenovirusE1B19kD interacting protein3）in the tissues of endometrial carcinoma,atypical hyperplasia of endometrium samples and normal endometrium tissues.Methods： The expression of SYK and BNIP3in52samples ofendometrial carcinoma,14samples of atypical hyperplasia of endometriumtissues and36normal endometrium tissues were detected by qRT-PCR andimmunohistochemical methods, analyzed its relationship withclinicopathological parameters of endometrial carcinoma tissues and thecorrelation of them in samples of endometrial carcinoma.Results：1. The mRNA level(1.44±0.36、0.98±0.23、0.63±0.20) and thepositive expression rates(91.7%、71.4%、32.7%) of SYK presented adecreasing trend among normal endometrium tissues, atypical hyperplasia ofendometrium samples and endometrial carcinoma tissues(P＜0.01).2. The expression of BNIP3mRNA(1.99±0.59) and protein(92.9%) inatypical hyperplasia of endometrium tissues were higher than that in normalendometrium tissues (0.82±0.23,8.3%) and endometrial carcinoma tissues(1.64±0.46,86.5%)．There were significant differences in the mRNAlevel and the positive expression rates of BNIP3expression among endometrialcarcinoma tissues，atypical hyperplasia of endometrium samples and normalendometrium tissues (P<0.01).3. The expression of SYK was related to the histological grade、clinicalstage、lymphnode metastasis and the depth of muscular infiltration in theendometrial carcinoma samples (P<0.05).This study did not reveal anysignificant association between BNIP3expression and endometrial carcinomapatients’ clinicopathologic parameters（P>0.05）．4. The expression of SYK was negatively correlated with BNIP3.Conclusions： The abnormal expression of SYK and BNIP3mightparticipate in the process of endometrial malignant change. The exploration forSYK and BNIP3could be useful for evaluating the early diagnosis andprognosis of endometrial carcinoma.
