Objective To study the human papilloma virus (HPV) infection and the distribution of subtype from women in Qingdao, and to evaluate the relationship between HPV infection and cervical lesions, which can provide more reliable scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions in this area. Methods A retrospective analysis793cases of cervical cytology specimens from August2012to Month2014from the gynecologic clinic of Qingdao Women and Children Hospital using HPV detection technology, in which285cases were taken cervical biopsy. The distribution of HPV subtypes in793cases specimens was analyzed and the histopathologic results and HPV infection in285cases specimens were studied. Results In793cases of specimens, the positive rate for HPV infection was42.62%(338/793), and there were24kinds of subtypes, single subtype accounted for73.96(250/338), double subtype accounting for20.12%(68/338), and tripling and quadruple subtype infection rate were4.47%(17/338) and0.89%(3/338) respectively. The main HPV subtype infection were HPV16(24.5%),58(12.92%),52(9.35%),56(9.35%),33(6.01%). In CIN Ⅰ, CINⅡ, CINIIIand SCC, the detection rates of HPV infection were62.96%(35/54),78.38%(29/37),97.22%(35/36) and100%(8/8).Conclusions①The major subtypes of HPV were HPV16,58,52,56and33in Qingdao area.②The distribution of HPV subtypes in Qingdao has some similarities and difficulties with other areas in China.③The detection rates of HPV are increased with the increasing degree of cervical lesions.
