Study On The Design Of Nursing Job Specification In Oncosurgical Ward

Objective:This study aimed at the management of clinical nursing in oncosurgical ward. Based on the result of survey, the nurses’positions were redesigned by different classification. A detailed workflow was to be created for the training and assessment of nursing practice.Methods:The nursing practice in oncosurgical ward was analyzed by the methods of data analysis, interview and on-the-spot investigation. Opinions from experts were filtered by Delphi Method. And an intimate workflow covered all classes of nurses’positions was created as a result.Results:(1) The nurses’positions were classified into seven groups:assistant, junior, senior, group leader clinician, specialism, teaching and head nurse.(2) An intimate workflow for the nursing practice in oncosurgical ward was created as a result.Conclusion:The practice of nursing in oncosurgical ward was investigated by scientific approaches in this study. And an intimate workflow was created as a result. The categorizations of nursing positions had presented the generalization, objectivity, scientificity and normalization of the workflow, which could be beneficial for the training and assessment of clinical nursing practice.
