The Clinical Observation On Alzheimer Disease Of Turbid Phlegm Type Treadted By Acupuncture

Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment turbid phlegm type senile dementia.Methods:1.The60cases of senile dementia patients were randomly divided into treatment groups(acupuncture group)and control group(Aricept medicine group),two groups of30cases. Treatment group included13females,17males,mean age was70.67years old;the control group included14females,16males,mean age was72.43years old.Among them,the treatment group selected acupuncture treatment,acupuncture for6days a week,1days of rest;the control group used oral treatment medicine Aricept,continuous treatment for4weeks.2.The results of treatment were observed before and after treatment in patients with Mini Mental State(MMSE),Activties of Daily Living(ADL),Sydrome Differentiation Scale for Dementia(SDSD).Results:1.Treatment group can significantly improve the AD patients with MMSE and ADL score,and the improvement had significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.05).2.Treatment group can significantly improve the AD patients with Chinese medicine symptom score(SDSD),and the improvement was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.Treatment group therapy for AD total effective rate was86.67%in the control group,the treatment of AD total effective rate was53.33%,the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture treatment turbid phlegm type senile dementia clinical curative effect.2.Acupuncture treatment turbid phlegm type senile dementia can improve cognitive function and life ability of patients,and better than Aricept.3.Acupuncture treatment turbid phlegm type senile dementia can improve TCM syndrome,and better than Aricept.
