The Clinical Research Of Ying-diao Powder Combine With Extracorporeal Shock Wave In Treating The Tibia Stress Fractures

Purpose:This study focus on the therapeudic effect of Ying-diao Powder combine with shock wave therapy in treating tibia stress fracture by comparing the three treatments" effect of tibia stress fractures.Methods:All the60patients were diagnosed with tibia stress fracture with X-ray, CT or MRI examination from the February2012to October2013in Fuzhou Genrral Hospital. According to random number table method they were divided into three groups A, B, C,20cases in each group. Group A:lower limb long leg plaster external fixation4~6weeks, after that walking recovery, and avoid training until the fracture healing; Group B:to use the medium doses of shock wave, according to the single cortical bone fracture treatment2times, double cortex fractures four times,once a day,1000pulse every time,2-4days in a row, and avoid weight bearing for4~6weeks after treatment, daily life can be supplemented by crutches;4~6weeks after the walk normally, but continue to avoid training until the fracture healing. Group C:liking group B after shock wave therapy we give Ying-diao Powder external treatment3hours every day for3weeks, and other processing are same as group B. Patients review the X-ray and CT, and record DOMS score, THT (Treatment-Healing-Time), calf circumference, knee joint mobility, every4weeks until fracture healing.Results:1)55cases of60cases received follow-up.2) Shock wave treatment of stress fractures without severe complications such as blood vessel and nerve damage.3)4~6weeks after treatment plaster immobilization group prone to femoral quadriceps muscle weakness and a stiff of knee or ankle.4)4~6weeks after treatment, the use of Ying-diao Powder detumescence effect is better than that of shock wave alone; Group B and group C shares four head high strength than in group A. No significant difference in calf circumference.Time of pain disappeared:group A (10.78±2.80) weeks; Group B (8.71±3.22) weeks; Group C (6.64±2.23) weeks. THT:group A (16.28±3.32) weeks; Group B (13.84±3.62) weeks; Group C (13.75±2.97) weeks, group A and group B and C group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). B group and contrast group C showed no difference between the two groups of fracture healing time, but the group C compared with group B in promoting lower extremity edema can show differences.Conclusion:Ying-diao Powder combine shock wave treatment tibial stress fractures has a effection of relieving pain, promoting healing.
