Although the incidence of infective endocarditis is not very high, butthe increase in the number of medical records has reported at home andabroad in recent years, cut the case fatality rate is still high, with the useof antibiotics, although at present the cure rate of infective endocarditishas obviously improved, but appeared vegetations form or valvularfunction is impaired, the case fatality rate is still high, simple to use drugsit is often difficult to achieve the ideal effect. As the natural outcome ofinfectious endocarditis, pathophysiology, in-depth understanding, thesurgical treatment of infective endocarditis have been widely recognized,but the timing of surgery remains controversial.Purpose:Summarize the clinical features of infective endocarditis,and surgical timing and treatment methods, effects and experience.Methods:At China-Japan Union Hospital Of Jilin University in2003to2013were retrospectively analyzed, the fellowship of53patientsadmitted in hospital cardiovascular surgery (male29cases, female24cases) the clinical data of patients with infective endocarditis.Result:Before the operation,2cases died because of vegetationsloss and lead to cerebral embolism, in turn, lead to respiratory failure anddeath. The rest of the51patients were treated with surgery, postoperativewere recovered and discharged, most of the patients were followed up for 12~36months postoperatively, no recurrence, heart function of patientsreturn to normal heart function (Cardiac function grade Ⅰor grade Ⅱ).Conclusion:1. Once the diagnosis of infective endocarditis, and at the same timeaccompanied by impaired valve, the formation of the vegetations, shouldbe timely surgical treatment, treatment after JinYuanQi effect issatisfactory.2. The heart of the preoperative and postoperative necessary andsystemic nutritional support is the important guarantee of successfuloperation.3. Preoperative and postoperative reasonable and effective antibiotictreatment is the key to successful operation.4. Reasonable selection of operative methods, thoroughly removeinfected lesions, is the foundation of successful operation.
