Background:In the21st century, cardiovascular disease has brought newchallenges to humans. As its highest mortality rate, cardiovascular disease hasbecome a global public health problem. In China cardiovascular morbidity andmortality increased rapidly, more than many developed countries. Therefore, variousstudies on cardiovascular disease in recent years has achieved rapid development.Meanwhile, the state increased the importance of medical science cooperation. Thereport clears that the traditional "fighting each other" research mode severelyrestricts the development of medical technology, we should strengthen theco-ordination work of medical science and technology and focus on the integrationof disciplines. Therefore, the study of cardiovascular disease needs the cooperationsamong inseparable scientists who have different knowledge, skills, laboratoryequipment. Scientific cooperation plays an extremely important role oncardiovascular disease research and development.Purpose:This article focused on the current situation and development ofinternational scientific cooperation on Chiness cardiovascular disease. Methods:It is selected SCI database literature as research data and usingbibliometric methods, social network analysis and double clustering as the methods. We commence our research on the cooperations among scientists, institutions andcountries.Results:(1)Scholars involved in cooperation, number of agencies and thenumber of countries are increasing every year. Cooperation rate has remained at ahigh level, and the co-production of a substantial increase. Topics coveredinterdisciplinary collaboration, cooperation development situation is good.(2)Collaboration of scientists focused on4-10scale. The scale of cooperation among agencies and more concentrated in1-3, Most scholars cooperation between partnerinstitutions inside.(3) The proportion of research institutes in the partner institutionsaccounted for the highest. We found that the number of co-operation betweenresearch institutes is up to5214times.(4) Scientists cooperation network densityincrease. Characteristic path lengths decrease. Clustering coefficient and the centralpotential has declined. Peking University is located in the center of collaborationnetworks.(5) China always collaborate with United States, Australia, Canada, Japanand most countries in Europe with the collabotations with the countries of SoutheastAsia, the Middle East, South America, Africa less. Conclusions:Then we find the overall development of the three levels ofscientific cooperation is good. Scientific cooperation has become the preferred pattenin scientific researches. Enthusiastic participation in scientific cooperation of sciencesubjects increased year by year. Cooperation between science subjects are closelyrelated and extensive connections. The scientific outputs increased year by year.Scientists cooperation scale increases and was in the “middle bid, two sides small"pattern; Scientific agencies are small and has a lot of internal cooperations. Theuniversities play an very important role in cooperations. We put forward somesuggestions for future development based on the characters of the cooperations.Weshould maintain the present trend on cooperation development and Expand the scaleof cooperation institutions. We also need try to develop "production-Medical-research" cooperation model and pay attention to "Chinese scientists" phenomenon. The last, we should Carry out multi-regional cooperation and realize commondevelopment of technology.
