Small cell lung cancer (small cell lung cancer,SCLC) is a kind of undifferentiatedcarcinoma of lung cancer, lung cancer accounts for about15-25%. Cancer cells originated in the larger bronchi lung Kulchitsky cells, which belongs to neuroendocrine tumor. Small cell lung cancer has a high degree of malignancy, tumor cell doubling time is short, early metastasis and widely, the characteristics of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, prognosis. Without the median survival in patients treated with2~only4months. In various types of lung cancer, prognosis of small cell lung cancer isthe worst.Small cell lung cancer radiotherapy and chemotherapy sensitivity high, remissionrate high, but prone to secondary resistance, easy to relapse, treatment with chemotherapy or radiotherapy or radical operation[Objective] by the early small cell lung cancer (small cell lung cancer, SCLC)"sequential chemotherapy after operation or chemotherapy+radiotherapy" and "chemotherapy+radiotherapy/chemotherapy" of the two treatments were compared, to explore the different treatment modalities in the early treatment of small cell lung cancer in the significance of.[Methods] analysis from2008January~2010year in January in the newly diagnosed the tumor hospital of Jilin province and treatment of74cases of small cell lungcancer patients medical records review, all cases had pathological evidence,54cases were male (73%),20female (17%), the median age was49years (30-73years). Among them31cases (41.9%) underwent operation of sequential chemotherapy or chemotherapy+radiotherapy methods, defined as the operation group. In43cases (58.1%) treated by chemotherapy or chemotherapy+radiotherapy, defined as the nonoperation group. All patients received systemic chemotherapy, with EP, EC. Therewere57cases (77%)underwent chest radiotherapy,58patients (78.4%)received prophylactic cranial irradiation (Prophylactic cranial irradiation,PCI). Through the statisticsof the total efficacy rate (CR+PR) and the survival rate of the selected cases analysis.[results] the effect according to the curative effect evaluation of solid tumors criteria (Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors RECISTl.1) standard. The total efficiency of90%(CR+PR), the median survival time was24months,1,2,3year survival rate was93.2%,85.1%,63.5%. Operation of sequential chemotherapy or chemotherapy+radiotherapy, chemotherapy or chemotherapy plus radiotherapy in1,2,3year survival rates were93.54%,87.09%,77.41%,93.02%,83.72%,55.82%, operation group: Observation of pI phase and pIIa phase, pIIb phase1,2,3year survival rates were:100%,90.90%,90.90%,100%,88.88%,88.88%,81.81%,63.63%,54.54%. Operation group and non operation group,1y ears survival rate had no obvious difference,3years survival rate of operation group was better than that of non operation group (P<0.05). Operation within group analysis: pI~pIIa period survival was no difference, IIb phase significantly lower survivalrate. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusion] early in patients with small cell lung cancer treatment options: compared with simple operation, radiotherapy, treatment combined with chemotherapy or combined with chemotherapy+radiotherapy treatment, can significantly prolong the survival time of patients with small cell lung cancer. Tumor TN stage of early small celllung cancer prognosis effect.
