Jiaxin Second Hospital Development Strategy

Recently, as the consequence of introducing new medical reform program, establishing public hospital reform program, and developing private hospitals, the internal and external environment for survival and development of public hospital has undergone profound changes. Whether public hospitals are able to stick the public nature to cope with all aspects of competitive pressure and maintain long-term development, depends on building up scientific development strategies that are suitable for the requirement of themselves and external environmental. Therefore, the development and implementation of strategic management, actively participate in competitions, to maxim achieve social benefits as well as rationalization economic benefits, are currently the inevitable choices for the JXEY.First,This article aims to illuminate the background of present research, significance of the study, and the fundamental theories for strategic development. In addition, on the basis of reviewing correlated literatures and practices both at home and abroad,So as to lay the foundation for this study.Secondly,Following the basic processes of strategic management, together with the characteristics of public hospitals and current ongoing practice of "new medical reform", we carefully analyzed the external macro-environment influencing the performance of the strategic management taken by the JXEY, and used the "five forces" model to structurally analyze the profession environment facing by the JXEY; meanwhile, on the basis of the advantages and disadvantages two point of views, we investigated the internal development conditions.Again,Using the SWOT matrix analysis, built up strategic combinations, and then conducted a development strategy selection for the JXEY (decision-making), made strategic development goals for the JXEY. Conducted a specific strategic choice.Finally, Together with practice, we pointed out ten aspects of strategy planning for the JXEY. we provide the strategies to control countermeasures that serve as an actual references for the development public hospitals in Jiaxing district.
