Analysis Of Clinical Data Of MAGA And Application Of Trichoscopy To Evaluate The Hair Loss In MAGA

Object:①To analyse predisposing factors and different symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine of male androgenetic alopecia from clinical data;②To evaluate the potential benefit of a trichoscopy in the clinical diagnosis and prognosis in MAGA.Method:①Analyse the predisposing factors and entity of symptoms in TCM of MAGA in76MAGA patients;②Take pictures for hairs and scalps with trichoscopy of110cases of MAGA patients and50healthy males and analyse to evaluate the potential benefit of a trichoscopy in the clinical diagnosis and prognosis in MAGA.Result:The clinical data from110MAGA patients shows a series of age-dependent events, such as the onset of the disease is more between20and25years old, and the mostly new clients come when they are at the ages of23and29. Patients with mild and moderate order of severity counts the largest proportion. The results of predisposing factors shows that family history counts the most(56%),then is the sleepless(19.07%), tension\stress(17.12%) and overfatigue(12.06%).which are relevant with the onsets of MAGA. DHT also plays a role in MAGA, in the peripheral blood. According to dialectical in TCM, the most famous symptom in MAGA is oily skin(88.15%),and the gan-shen-kui-xu symptoms hits the most patients. Via the trichoscopy-computer image processing system, we can see a significant difference in the results of hair density, the density of hair follicle, HDD, thin hair rate between patients and healthy people. In severe patients we can see honeycomb sign, white dots, both or alone.Conclusion:Signs of RHDD can be used in diagnosis, the intermediate hair (30um-74.83um) among the emergence of early diagnosis standard, can be used in early diagnosis. The severity of PPS sign can be used as a short term (1to3months) curative effect in evaluation of pointer. RHDD can serve as a long-term clinical observation indexes, used to evaluate efficacy and patient tolerance; Severe scalp hair loss patients often appear honeycomb sign, white spots, can be used to evaluate the prognosis.
