| The chronic bronchitis in whoop type is a kind of chronic non-special inflammation on trachea, bronchia and the tissue around due to infection or non-infection. Its main clinical symptoms are cough and phlegm which last continuous more than 3 months per year as well as 2 continuous years. This disease has symptom of whoop and a feature of appearing wheeze frequently or many times. The symptoms of this disease would last a very long time, belong to the extent of"kesou"and"chuanzheng"in TCM. The incidence of this disease continue to rise and the patients are younger and younger because of the high speed of modern life and the changes of the methods of work.The reasons of chronic bronchitis are various. After clinical research in a long time of nearly thirty years, the scientists of Acupotomeology think this disease in some patients is caused by the dysfunction of sympathetic nerve dominate the bronchia and lung because of being pressed of drawn.Acupotomeology, base on the theory of TCM and combine the knowledge of modern medicine, established the etiology theory of chronic parenchyma lesion and the vertebral area which achieved excellent effect of treatment on chronic bronchitis. Under the advice from tutor, this subject has done the clinical research on the Acupotomy of chronic bronchitis to observe and evaluate the clinical effect of Acupotomy of chronic bronchitis. Meanwhile we researched the mechanism of the treatment.I.The part of literature review:First of all, analyzing and summarizing the current research condition of chronic bronchitis from modern medicine. This article, refers a lot of literatures, has a relative comprehensive summarization of the current understanding and treatment of chronic bronchitis from the definition, research history, types, reasons, aetiology and pathology.The second, reviewing the TCM understanding of chronic bronchitis systemicly, and discussing its definition, reasons, mechanism and clinical research completely.The third, discussing the integrative treatment of chronic bronchitis, and summarizing the subject of integrative medicine from its origin, development, theory and clinical research.The forth, summarizing the Acupotomeology's origin and development, discussing its theory and methods of treatment. Besides, discussing the its current condition of treatment for chronic parenchyma lesion, diseases and chronic bronchitis. Analyzing and summarizing the chronic bronchitis in whoop type from the defination, aetiology, pathology and modern research.II.The part of clinical research:Objective: through comparing the Acupotome of chronic bronchitis and the regular comprehensive treatment of western medicine on the same disease, observing the effect of Acupotome on this disease objectively, finding the effective treatment and discussing the further mechanism. Method: using Acupotome to loose the ossified, contracture tissue around the T3, replace the displaced thoracic vertebras by the special Acupotome method, fix them by retainer for 1-2 weeks if necessary, to release the pressure and draw of sympathetic nerves. And compared with control of western medicine. Evaluating the treatment by the improvement of clinical symptom and sign.Result: 53 patients with chronic bronchitis were divided into the group of Acupotomy or control of western medicine randomly 27 cases in the group of Acupotomy of near future, there into 11 cases in clinical manipulation, significantly relieved in 6 cases, relieved in 5 cases, ineffective in 5. the rate of clinical manipulation is 40.74%, the rate of significantly relieve is 22.22%, the rate of relieve is 18.52%, the rate of total effective is 81.48%; 29 cases in control of western medicine, thereinto 13 cases in clinical manipulation, significantly relieved is 11 cases, relieved is 4 cases, ineffective is 1 case, the rate of clinical manipulation is 44.83%, the rate of significant relieve is 37.93%, the rate of relieve is 13.97%, the rate of total effective is 96.55%, this indicates the different between the effect of treatment of western medicine in near future and that of the Acupotome has no statistic significance.(P>0.05). 26 cases are in the group of Acupotomy of middle future, clinical cure in 12 cases, significant relieved in 5 cases, relieved in 3 cases, ineffective in 6 cases, the rate of clinical cure is 46.15%, the rate of significant relieve is 19.23%, the rate of relieve is 11.54%, the rate of total effective is 76.92%, in the group of western medicine integrative treatment, clinical cure in 4 cases, significant relieved in 4 cases, relieved in 9 cases, ineffective in 10 cases, the rate of clinical cure is 14.81%, the rate of significant relieve is 14.81%, the rate of relieve is 33.33%, the rate of total effective is 62.96%, has the statistic significance (P<0.05). this indicated the Acupotome is better than the control of western medicine integrative treatment.Conclusion: the reasons of chronic bronchitis in whoop type are various, and a lot of patients can be attributed to the pressure of the lesion of soft tissue in the spine area or the dysfunction of the sympathetic nerves which dominate the bronchia and lung due to pressure and draw. This is similar with the"big tendon soft and shot, little tendon relax and long"which will affect the diffusion of Yang Qin from the Du Meridian and Bladder Meridian to the relative organs in the areas where the DU and BL run. The treatment of Acupotomoloy is to remove the basic cause we discuss above to recover the function of organs. This treatment, which can relieve the cough, phlegm and asthma effectively and improve the function of respiration system, has nice short-term and middle-term effect with the advantages of safe, stable, quick, few side-effect, low-cost and easy to be accepted by patients. However, the treatment of Acupotomology toward this kind of disease is not good enough, so we still need to explore other reasons which can cause this disease. We need to do some further research and find more proper treatment to enhance the effect. And meanwhile, we also can regular the suit-symptem of Acupotomology. |
