ObjectiveBy analyzing the relevant information of the patients with asymmetric diabetic retinopathy in Fundus image、FFA and OCT,we graded the degree of it, meanwhile. we discussed the relationship among DR degree and age, course of disease, relative factors (BRVO)、high myopia、Cataract surgery). It aimed to improve the understanding of asymmetric diabetic retinopathy.MethodRelevant data and information of62patients with asymmetric diabetic retinopathy were analyzed by Fundus image FFA and OCT. At the same time the relationship among age、the course of disease and relative factors was analyzed with spss17.0.Result1. In62patients of asymmetric diabetic retinopathy, there were5patients between the age of18to44accounting for8%,8patients between the age of45to59accounting for12%and49patients over the age of60accounting for80%.2. In62patients asymmetric diabetic retinopathy, there were10patients whose course of disease less than five years accounting for16%,8patients whose course of disease more than five years and less than10years accounting for21%and39patients whose course of disease of ten years accounting for62%.3. In20cases with high myopia in one eye..There was a significant difference (P<0.05)between high myopia eyes and contralateral eye with PDR. DR degree of contralateral eyes group was more serious than high myopia eyes group.4.. In20cases with high myopia in one eye. They could be divided into three groups according to the degree of myopia,-6~-8Dgroup,-8~-10Dgroup -10~-12Dgroup.There was a significant difference (P<0.05) between different groups with PDR. DR degree of-6~-8D group was more serious than-8~-12D group5. In20cases with high myopia in one eye, They could be divided into two groups according to the degree of posterior vitreous detachment(PVD), complete posterior vitreous detachment groups and incomplete posterior vitreous detachment group. There was a significant difference (P<0.05) between two groups with PDR. DR degree of incomplete posterior vitreous detachment groups was more serious than complete posterior vitreous detachment group6. In20cases with high myopia in one eye. There was a significant difference (P <0.05) between high two groups with macular edema. Macular edema degree of contralateral eyes group was more serious than high myopia groups.7. In20cases with cataract surgery in one eye. There was a significant difference (P <0.05) between surgical eyes and non-surgical eye with PDR. DR degree of surgery eyes groups was more serious than non-surgical eyes group.8In22cases with branch retinal vein occlusion in one eye. There was a significant difference (P<0.05) between BRVO eyes and non-BRVO eye with PDR.DR degree of eyes with BRVO group was more serious than contralateral eyes group.9. In22cases with branch retinal vein occlusion in one eye. There was a significant difference (P<0.05) between ischemic BRVO and no-ischemic BRVO eye with PDR..DR degree of eyes with ischemic BRVO group was more serious than no-ischemic BRVO eyes group.10.In16cases with deficiency of yin and yang and asymmetric diabetic retinopathy. DR degree of sicker eyes was5degree accounting for14/16;4degree accounting for1/16:3degree accounting for1/16.Conclusion 1、High myopia is identified as a statistically significant protect factor for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The deeper the degree of myopia is, the more it protects obviously.2、Cataract surgery is identified as a statistically significant risk factor for proliferative diabetic retinopathy.3、Branch retinal vein occlusion is identified as a statistically significant risk factor for proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
