ObjectiveTo study the influence of aerobic exercise on cancer-related fatigue causedby breast cancer and the change of muscle-derived interleukin-6in breastcancer patients receiving chemotherapy in hospital. To confirm that skeletalmuscle-derived IL-6is one of potential mechanisms of relieving cancer relatedfatigue by aerobic exercise, make the suggestions about the treatment ofrelieving cancer related fatigue, and enhance the level of quality of life.MethodsBreast cancer patients received chemotherapy in a three-level hospital ofLiaoning were selected randomly. And patients in accordance with the receivedstandard and excepted standard are divided into two groups, which are a31patients contrast group received the conventional nursing and a31patientsintervention group received8weeks aerobic intervention besides. Interventionmeasures of the intervention group include explaining the basic knowledge ofthe breast cancer, the relevant knowledge of the cancer-related fatigue and thetheoretical knowledge of the intervention under movement, formulatingintervention measures under aerobic movement. The content of the skeletalmuscle-derived interleukin-6, interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α and thescore situation of Piper in the serum of patients of two groups are respectively monitored under intervening and no-intervening. After8weeks aerobicintervention, the ease situation of the cancer-related fatigue, and the changesituation of the content of interleukin-6, interleukin-1β and tumor necrosisfactor-α are analyzed.ResultsBefore intervention, the scores of piper of all patients were4.28+0.97, itrepresents moderate fatigue. After the intervention, the scores of Piper of theintervention group was significantly lower than the control group (P=0.000). Thescores of Piper decrease (P〈0.01) and the contents of interleukin-6wasincreased (P〈0.01) in the intervention group, the contents of interleukin--1betawas decrease (P〈0.01) in the intervention group, the contents of tumor necrosisfactor-alpha was decrease (P〈0.01) in the intervention group.ConclusionsThe aerobic exercise is easy and convenient. After the intervention, thelevel of CRF were relieve in the intervention group, and confirm thatmuscle-derived IL-6is one of mechanism of easing cancer related fatigue byaerobic exercise, and through making individualized aerobic exercise programeasing cancer-related fatigue.
