Objective:To evaluate the sealing performance in root canal of the Eucommia ulmoides gum complex root canal filling material.Methods:To select of45fresh premolars which had been exelcymosised as orthodontic needed,than divided them into experimental group and control group randomly.The modified complex Eucommia ulmoides gum had been used in experimental group as root canal filling material,join the Eucommia ulmoides gum material into3subgroups(A2> A3、A4group) according to different formula.The clinical used gutta-percha had been used in control group as root filling material.There are5teeth in negative control group,their root canal orifice and apical foramina had been completed sealed with Nall enamel after root canal filling finished.The Mtwo nickel titanium system had been used in prepare root canal and the hot gutta-percha vertical compression system had been used in filling root canal.After the micro seepage model is established,using the glucose oxidase method to detect the glucose content which is seeped from the pulp canal in1、3、5、7、10、15、20and30days.The SPSS20.0statistical software had been used in analysis of statistical data. Results:1.The Eucommia ulmoides gum root canal filling material has good fluidity and operating performance after heating.The X-ray show that the Eucommia ulmoides gum filling material can reach the apical area in the range of2mm.There has no space between material and root canal wall.2.Negative control group did not detected micro leakage within30days,other groups found the microleakage in the first day with the different degrees.Through the change of time,the microleakage values increased either.The maximum amount of microleakage was appeared in group A2,followed by A3, A4and control group.There has no statistically significant differences between each group in first day,from the third days A2group had statistical difference compared with the control group,from the tenth days A3group had statistical difference compared with the control group,the thirtieth days there had statistically significant difference between A4group and the control group.Conclusion:1.The Eucommia ulmoides gum root filling material has good mobility and maneuverability after heating.2.The content of the gas phase nano silicon dioxide in the Eucommia ulmoides gum complex root filling material affect the apical sealing performance,with the increase of content the sealing performance degradation.3.The apical sealing performance of the Eucommia ulmoides gum complex root filling material,in particular,it s long-term sealing performance should be further improved.
